🚧 Project Superintendent – Asphalt Division

🔧 What You’ll Do

Safety First, Always

• Lead daily safety meetings and T-5 risk assessments
• Enforce company safety standards and ensure compliance with signage and site conditions
• Report incidents and near misses promptly
• Promote a safety-first mindset across all crews and subcontractors

Quality & Compliance

• Understand and enforce project specifications and QC requirements
• Ensure crews meet all quality standards in the field

Operational Leadership

• Collaborate with Project Managers to develop and execute project plans
• Coordinate logistics, materials, equipment, and personnel
• Communicate expectations clearly to internal teams and subcontractors
• Monitor progress, solve problems, and maintain accurate records
• Manage lane closures, damage recovery, and unforeseen conditions
• Provide daily updates to Project Managers
• Order materials and oversee night work when required

🧠 What You Bring

Experience & Education

• 8+ years in construction, with 2+ years in a Foreman or Superintendent role
• High school diploma or GED required

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficient in reading project plans and conducting basic math
• Familiarity with MOT plans, project phasing, and general surveying
• Equipment operation experience (CDL preferred but not required)
• Comfortable using computers and software tools
• Ability to maintain time and material records

Work Requirements

• Pass pre-employment screenings (physical, drug, background, driving record)
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Commitment to safety and punctuality

Physical Demands

• Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, squatting, and lifting (25–50 lbs)
• Use of hand and power tools
• Exposure to varying weather conditions
• Must be able to legally and safely operate a company vehicle
