Role Overview

The Product Manager will serve as the central coordinator and strategic lead across sales, planning, customer service, legal, and technical teams to drive product performance and profitability. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of business operations, manufacturing, and financial drivers to guide strategy execution and performance improvement. Reporting to the Business Director, the Product Manager will lead efforts in market analysis, competitive positioning, and execution of product strategies. Success in this role depends on a deep understanding of product lifecycle management and a proactive approach to integrating technology and data into all decisions. The role also supports leadership development and readiness for broader responsibilities in marketing and sales management.

Major Performance Objectives

1. Drive Product Profitability and Strategic Execution

Within the first 6–9 months, assess and refine the product portfolio’s profitability drivers, including production cost, inventory, logistics, and customer mix. Partner with supply chain, finance, and technical teams to implement actionable improvements with measurable impact. Use business intelligence tools and predictive analytics to support decision-making and continuously track pricing, volume, and margin performance.

2. Execute and Monitor Market Strategy for Growth

Within the first year, implement a product strategy aligned with market dynamics and customer needs. Leverage competitive intelligence, pricing data, and customer insights to defend and expand sales volume. Apply AI-enabled market trend analysis and CRM automation to forecast demand and identify new revenue opportunities.

3. Strengthen Cross-Functional Alignment and Decision Making

By month nine, lead cross-functional sessions to align supply/demand planning, sales, customer service, and technical functions around shared KPIs. Evaluate performance drivers and recommend optimizations using data visualization and digital collaboration platforms to improve throughput and service delivery.
