Job Description

COLTENE is looking for a Logistics/Traffic Coordinator to join our Warehouse team in Cuyahoga Falls, OH location. This role will coordinate shipment for all domestic and international customer orders efficiently and in a timely manner. This is a day shift onsite opportunity, relocation for this role is not provided, local candidates are preferred.

Duties and responsibilities

• Develop and produce documents for all international and domestic orders
• Maintain log of all shipments
• Liaison between Order Entry, Shipping Department and Forwarder
• Create documents and labels for shipping product
• Knowledge of all procedures and guidelines for shipping hazardous and non-hazardous product out of the Continental United States
• Knowledge of all procedures and guidelines for shipping hazardous and non-hazardous product internationally and into Canada
• Ability to pull or pack finished goods
• Knowledgeable of hazardous materials guidelines and procedures and how to pack hazardous product

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability needed in order to successfully perform the job.

• Associate’s degree or equivalent
• 3 + years traffic experience preferred
• Able to work effectively with cross-functional departments
• Able to communicate with customers via email or phone
• Must be able to deal with stressful situations
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Strong organizational skills
• Able to work in a manufacturing environment
• Health or Medical Industries experience is beneficial
• FDA & GMP experience preferred

Working conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in primarily in a plant environment. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. This is a full-time hourly non-exempt position requiring at least 40 hours per week, with hours of work and days scheduled determined by the Warehouse Supervisor. Special circumstances such as off shift and weekend work might occur on rare occasions.This position requires no travel.

Physical requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily sitting for prolonged periods of time. Standing, walking or bending will occur from time to time. Prolonged periods of concentration and focus are required along with adequate interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with stress of time constraints. The employee is required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position requires regular and consistent attendance at the facility.
