My day at EssilorLuxottica

  • Collect, analyze, and maintain environmental and waste management data to support performance tracking, decision-making, and progress toward environmental objectives.
  • Lead and coordinate waste management activities, including waste segregation, recycling performance, disposal methods, and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Develop and deliver environmental and waste management training programs to raise employee awareness and engagement in sustainability initiatives.
  • Support functional teams in the development and implementation of sustainability strategies and waste reduction programs.
  • Coordinate with relevant functions to obtain accurate information for sustainability, environmental, and waste-related reporting.
  • Lead and coordinate the identification and evaluation of Environmental Aspects and Impacts, with particular focus on waste generation, handling, and disposal activities.
  • Prepare, investigate and report environmental incidents or accidents related to waste or environmental non-conformities, and submit reports to the supervisor with recommended corrective actions.
  • Support the implementation, maintenance, and audit activities of the EHS Management System (EHSMS), including preparation of documentation and follow-up actions.
  • Provide support to other integrated management systems, such as ISO 13485 and ISO 9001, within the scope of assigned responsibilities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of environmental laws and industrial waste handling.
  • Strong organizational, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Experience with EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO45001) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and environmental monitoring tools.
  • Degree on environmental science or environmental engineer
  • Environmental control license (Wastewater, Air pollution & Hazardous waste)
  • Dangerous goods specialist is advantage
  • Safety professional license is a plus

Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

  • Minimum 5 yrs. Experience of working in EHS department as officer or engineer level in environment area for manufacturing or continuous process plant,
  • Experience in Environmental Impact Assessment, VOC emission inventory, Greenhouse Gases emission and Environmental Management System
  • Skills in environmental procedure initiate,
  • Skills in training provider,
  • Skills in assessment for environment aspect and impact
  • Skills in industrial waste management
  • Strong analytical, logic, problem solver and systematic thinking skills
  • Good command in English both spoken and written
