About the Role
A leading automation firm is looking for a detail-oriented Electrical Designer to develop and maintain electrical drawings and documentation that power modern industrial control systems. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with engineers and project teams on cutting-edge automation projects.
What You’ll Do
Design and update electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical or similar tools.
Translate engineering concepts and markups into complete, accurate design packages.
Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensure designs align with NEC, UL 508A, and internal standards.
Partner with engineers, panel builders, and project managers to verify design accuracy and functionality.
Maintain organized documentation and assist in design reviews throughout project execution.
What You Bring
Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical (or equivalent CAD software).
Strong understanding of industrial systems including PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.
Ability to read and interpret complex schematics and specifications.
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and collaboration.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
