Customer Relations Liaison

Houston, TX (With 25% Travel)

Our client, a recognized leader in metal building accessories and ventilation solutions, has a rare opportunity for a Customer Relations Liaison to join their close-knit and forward-thinking team.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who leads with emotional intelligence, builds trust naturally, and thrives on long-term relationship development.

What You Will Do

• Act as the trusted connection between the company and its customers, including metal structure builders and general contractors
• Plan and attend regular in-person visits, industry events, client dinners, and presentations to strengthen relationships
• Educate customers, introduce new tools and processes, and help ensure the company remains top of mind
• Work with the sales team for quote creation

What You Will Not Do

• Cold call or chase random leads
• Work under strict sales quotas; success is based on relationship quality and consistency

Who You Are

• Charismatic, emotionally aware, and socially intelligent; you read the room well and leave a strong impression
• Confident when presenting in group settings and comfortable navigating new social environments
• Naturally assertive and comfortable taking the lead in unfamiliar situations
• Professionally experienced in B2B sales or customer-facing roles (ideally in building materials but not required), manufacturing, or related industries
• Interested in a long-term role with the potential to grow into a leadership position, possibly leading to a future VP of Sales or Marketing
• Post secondary education (ideal but not required)
