Customer Relations Liaison

Houston, TX (With 25% Travel)

Our client, a recognized leader in metal building accessories and ventilation solutions, has a rare opportunity for a Customer Relations Liaison to join their close-knit and forward-thinking team.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who leads with emotional intelligence, builds trust naturally, and thrives on long-term relationship development.

What You Will Do

Act as the trusted connection between the company and its customers, including metal structure builders and general contractors
Plan and attend regular in-person visits, industry events, client dinners, and presentations to strengthen relationships
Educate customers, introduce new tools and processes, and help ensure the company remains top of mind
Work with the sales team for quote creation

What You Will Not Do

Cold call or chase random leads
Work under strict sales quotas; success is based on relationship quality and consistency

Who You Are

Charismatic, emotionally aware, and socially intelligent; you read the room well and leave a strong impression
Confident when presenting in group settings and comfortable navigating new social environments
Naturally assertive and comfortable taking the lead in unfamiliar situations
Professionally experienced in B2B sales or customer-facing roles (ideally in building materials but not required), manufacturing, or related industries
Interested in a long-term role with the potential to grow into a leadership position, possibly leading to a future VP of Sales or Marketing
Post secondary education (ideal but not required)
