We’re Hiring: Civil Drafters & Civil Designers

Fusion Engineering & Technology is growing, and we're looking for Civil Drafters and Civil Designers to join our team in San Diego County . This is a great opportunity for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy transforming engineering concepts into high-quality construction documents in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do:

Prepare and revise grading, drainage, erosion control, and utility plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Assist in developing stormwater management plans , BMP exhibits , and technical details
Work closely with engineers and project managers to meet deadlines and design standards
Incorporate redlines, follow CAD standards, and maintain organized plan sets
Help review as-builts and assist with preparation of permit submittal packages

What We’re Looking For:

3+ years of experience drafting in a civil engineering setting (more experience for designer roles)
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (BricsCAD is a plus)
Ability to interpret engineering redlines, sketches, and markups
Strong attention to detail, time management, and file organization
Familiarity with local agency standards is preferred
