Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all recruitment and employment efforts for the plant workforce.
  • Act as a communication liaison between leadership and Spanish-speaking employees.
  • Advise plant departments (Production, Maintenance, Quality, etc.) on HR matters, including employee relations and performance management.
  • Conduct internal investigations and support the disciplinary and termination process.
  • Ensure consistent communication and enforcement of company policies and procedures in both English and Spanish.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • Foster a positive, respectful workplace by building strong relationships across the plant.
  • Train and support supervisors on HR best practices and legal compliance.
  • Handle additional HR duties as needed to support plant operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required.
  • Prior HR experience in a manufacturing or food production environment is strongly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and resolve issues effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Adobe applications and Lotus Notes is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
