We are expanding and looking for a  driven, organized, and technically sharp Assistant Mix Engineer / Technical Coordinator to join our team. The Role

As an Assistant Mix Engineer / Technical Coordinator, you will support our lead engineers and producers in all aspects of post-production audio and technical operations. 

You’ll assist in session prep, dialogue editing, ADR/voice record workflows, conforming, and final deliverables while also managing technical systems, file formats, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities Audio Engineering & Post-Production
  • Support mix engineers during sessions: session prep, routing, file management, documentation
  • Assist with ADR and voice recording sessions (including talent coordination and tech setup)
  • Dialogue editing, cleanup, and conforming audio to new picture cuts
  • Conforming session timelines to match editorial changes (cutdowns, trailers, re-edits)
  • QC of final mixes and deliverables for sync, artifacts, and formatting issues
  • Organize and archive session data, track versions and updates meticulously
Technical Coordination & Media Management
  • Coordinate all incoming and outgoing project materials across teams and clients
  • Video editing using Final Cut Pro for references, reels, and client presentations
  • Compress and transcode videos using Compressor or similar tools for web and delivery
  • Manage studio FTP servers, uploads/downloads, and data workflows
  • Maintain, install, and troubleshoot software systems and operating environments
  • Ensure system backups and drive organization are always current and secure
  • Logging and cataloging source media and project assets
Production & Studio Support
  • Support engineers with day-to-day project operations 
  • Liaise between engineers, producers, and creative directors to ensure smooth communication
  • Maintain studio readiness: equipment, cleanliness, file structure, and backups
  • Assist in laybacks, presentations etc.
What We're Looking For Must-Haves:
  • Proficiency in  Pro Tools Logic Pro , and  Final Cut Pro
  • Working knowledge of  QuickTime Compressor , and FTP clients (Cyberduck, Transmit)
  • Experience with  dialogue editing ADR , and  voice recording workflows
  • Understanding of media formats, resolutions, frame rates, and sync issues
  • Meticulous organization, documentation, and version tracking skills
  • Strong Mac OS X user with solid troubleshooting ability
  • Self-starter attitude with a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
