Portable Blowout is a leading consumer electronics Distributor, based in Northridge, CA.

We are seeking the right person to join our team as a Shipper/Receiving Associate.

Job Overview:

Ship and receive shipments. Account for All inbound and outbound shipments with serialized tracking. Package products for shipments properly and efficiently. Provides input to Inside Technical Sales personnel with regard to low inventory levels of items in demand. Ensures warehouse is neat, safe and organized.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accurately filling customer orders.
• Receives products from numerous vendors and inspects shipment for missing items and/or damaged goods.
• Actual shipment must be audited to the packing list and Purchase Order.
• Manager must be advised on any discrepancies and/or damages.
• Re-stocks shelves in warehouse.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe warehouse and showroom.
• Provides input to Inside Sales Technician with regard to low inventory levels of items commonly sold.
• Notifies manager of low inventory of supplies.
• Maintains work area in a neat, organized and safe manner.
• Operates pallet jack and pallet stacker machinery in a safe manner.
• Fluent English along with excellent typing skills
• Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel.
• Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot.
• Strong verbal and organizational skills- Shipping, receiving, or assembly experience.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to identify priorities and work independently.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Must be safety-minded.
• Must be able to work overtime when necessary.
• Must be willing to alert manager when there is a safety issue or concern.

Salary will depend on experience and abilities.

Job Type: Full-time.

Required education: High school or equivalent.
