Vehicle Transportation / Logistics Coordinator
Looking for a solid Transportation and Logistics Coordinator to support the shipping and receiving of vehicles to different locations across the country. All shipping will be domestic, but this person should have solid experience with routing/scheduling/coordination/SAP transactions and more. The primary focus will be handling the shipping – outbound and inbound and optimizing costs but also will involve supporting the SAP transactions with shipping and receiving vehicles.
Required:
• 5+ years of automotive shipping/logistics.
• Experience with routing, scheduling of finished vehicles.
• Understanding of day-to-day ops involved with vehicle shipping.
• Experience with supporting SAP transactions. Must have SAP experience.
• Ad hoc support on transportation issues as they come up.
• Optimizing costs by ensuring load density during shipping. Optimizing costs based on SLAs.
• Handling any damage/shortages during shipping.
Pluses:
• If someone has experience shipping automotive components as well as finished vehicles that would be a home run.

Estimated Min Rate : $30.00
