Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our Deployment team. This position can be either remote or hybrid for candidates located in the Chandler, AZ area. The Project Manager will support or lead customer deployment projects, with a focus on managing all phases of deployment from initiation to closeout across multiple telecommunications applications. This role ensures timely, cost-effective, and policy-compliant project execution in collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Lead Project Manager or serve as the primary project manager for assigned customer deployments, particularly for regional or nontraditional projects.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of projects including site acquisition, structural analysis, A&E services, land use planning, zoning, permitting, lease and construction management.
  • Ensure project delivery within agreed-upon timelines and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Proactively communicate project risks, status updates, and any issues that may affect delivery or cost to customers and internal leadership.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to collect and maintain necessary project documentation (e.g., permits, leases, structural analyses, regulatory approvals).
  • Support and lead deployment meetings and serve as point of contact for carrier representatives as needed.
  • Provide accurate project forecasting in the Project Management Tool (initial and ongoing updates).
  • Handle utility coordination, design issue resolution (e.g., lease entitlements, easements), and general site readiness tasks.
  • Maintain strong vendor management and ensure contractor performance and compliance.
  • Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders across multiple service groups to support project goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the telecommunications, construction, or wireless industry.

Desired Skills & Abilities:

  • Familiarity with wireless network deployment, tower modification, or collocation projects.
  • Understanding of site acquisition and permitting processes.
  • Ability to read blueprints, site plans, and structural reports.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Financial acumen with the ability to interpret project financials and recommend solutions.
  • Competency in coordinating with internal departments and external vendors.
  • Basic knowledge of construction services including telco, power, fiber, antennas, towers, and vendor requirements.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.

Working Conditions:

  • Office Work (Remote or Chandler, AZ Hybrid): ~80%
  • Field Work/Site Visits: ~20% (may include exposure to heavy equipment and variable environmental conditions)
