Get ready to embark on your journey as a Technical Service Engineer at Suzano. Joining our dynamic team in Fort Lauderdale , you will play a pivotal role in supporting customer development activities, technical claim handling, and promoting Suzano as a global leader in the Pulp and Paper industry. By bringing your strong communication skills and creative problem-solving techniques, you'll be instrumental in helping our customers see the value beyond the physical pulp and paper products we manufacture. Your role will enable you to interact with nearly every department in Suzano, allowing for numerous opportunities to find where your individual talents can be best applied. You will be joining a high-performance team that excels in applying traditional and emerging knowledge bases in new and creative ways to solve complex problems. What We Expect from You:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Paper Science, Chemical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Technology).
• Basic technical knowledge in papermaking processes, finished product properties and testing methods is an advantage.
• Exceptional communication and customer engagement skills.
• Ability to stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time and participate in industry events and conferences.
• Relocation to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA is required for this position.

What You’re Going to Do:

Technical Assistance:

• Provide technical assistance to Suzano’s pulp and paper customers in North America.
• Engage in technical discussions with customers, offering on-site support for trials and troubleshooting.
• Support the Commercial and Marketing teams with technical information and proposals to promote advantages of Suzano’s products.

Technical Claims Handling:

• Coordinate technical portion of claims through cross-departmental communication, process flow optimization, timely responses to customers, and implementing corrective actions.
• Analyze performance indicators for claims (KPIs) and report monthly to office leadership.

Customer Support:

• Ensure efficient and timely responses to customer complaints and concerns, fostering strong customer relationships.
• Develop and distribute periodic reports to key customers.
• Respond to and fulfill sample inquiries from potential and existing customers.

Compliance and Certifications:

• Coordinate efforts internally to answer customer questionnaires and provide statements and certifications to address specific requests.
• Support ISO audits and other compliance-related activities internally and with customers.

Competitive Analysis and Industry Engagement:

• Analyze competitive landscapes and emerging technologies to provide strategic insights for decision-making.
• Participate in industry events and conferences to build networks and represent Suzano in the North American market.
