Purpose

We’re expanding our creative output and brand storytelling on social platforms to captivate audiences and inspire better living through sleep. As our Social Media Producer, you’ll work directly with our founder to craft emotionally engaging, premium-quality content that drives awareness, conversion, and community connection—shaping how people see light and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

1. Create and Tell Authentic Stories

• Capture emotional, authentic stories that showcase how UBlockout transforms sleep and spaces.
• Film customer installations, influencer collaborations, and lifestyle shoots, with flexibility for U.S.-based travel as needed.
• Write and edit short-form scripts that embody UBlockout’s inspirational and calm brand voice.

2. Produce Premium Content

• Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
• Transform influencer UGC and customer content into engaging, cohesive visual stories.
• Ensure consistency in tone, message, and premium aesthetic across all platforms.

3. Manage and Optimize Organic Channels

• Own the social media calendar, planning and scheduling content aligned with brand campaigns.
• Write compelling captions, tag partners, and monitor performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite).
• Analyze content performance to identify opportunities for optimization and growth, driving engagement and conversions.
• Engage with our growing community of “blackout sleepers” to foster authentic conversations around sleep and wellness.

4. Collaborate and Shape the Brand

• Work directly with our founder and Creative Strategist Lead to align content with paid ad campaigns.
• Partner with Karen (Influencer Manager) to integrate authentic customer and influencer content.
• Collaborate with Brian and Melinda (Design and Creative) on branded assets and graphics.
• Contribute ideas to evolve the creative vision of a category-defining wellness brand.

Your experience

• 3+ years in content creation, filmmaking, or digital storytelling.
• Proficiency in self-shooting and editing (e.g., Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut).
• Strong eye for detail, composition, and emotional rhythm in visual storytelling.
• Visual design skills (Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, etc.) with an understanding of layout, typography, and brand systems.
• Comfort working within—and evolving—premium brand guidelines.
• Startup mindset: proactive, resourceful, and fast to act.
• Ability to turn small ideas into remarkable creative outputs.
• Flexibility to travel for shoots across the U.S.
