Position Title: Senior SharePoint Developer / Engineer
Location: Remote (U.S. Citizens, GC, or PR Only)
(Focus on SharePoint 2019), .NET, C#, Custom Components and Web Forms.
Look for and call out any SharePoint 2016 to 2019 Migration experience.
Overview:
SharePoint Developer with strong experience in SharePoint 2019 and .NET development. This role will support legacy SharePoint applications while also building new features on the 2019 platform, with an eye toward a future migration to SharePoint Online (Office 365). Candidates must be U.S. citizens due to future deployment to a GCC (Government Community Cloud) environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and enhance existing SharePoint 2016 and 2019 on-prem applications.
Administer SharePoint environments including services, permissions, and troubleshooting.
Design, develop, and maintain ASP.NET backend components and services that interface with SharePoint 2019 through RESTful APIs, CSOM (Client-Side Object Model), and server-side object models. This includes building custom web parts, event receivers, and timer jobs that automate business processes, manipulate SharePoint data, and enhance site functionality. Responsibilities also include implementing robust error handling, logging, and integration with SQL Server or external data sources when needed.
Build and maintain modern front-end interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Collaborate with infrastructure (SQL, IIS, AD) and internal user groups.
Assist with SharePoint Online migration readiness and planning.

Required Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with SharePoint 2019 on-premises
Proficient in .NET Framework, ASP.NET, and C#
Strong client-side scripting skills (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3)
Familiarity with SharePoint APIs (REST, CSOM)
Knowledge of Active Directory, IIS, and SQL Server
Experience with SharePoint Online migration prep (a plus)
Must be a U.S. Citizen (required for future GCC deployment)
