LOCATION: GREENSBORO, NC

DURATION: 6 MONTHS

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Siemens OpCenter MOM Consultant to support our client's digital manufacturing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience specifically with OpCenter Discrete modules (not interchangeable with other OpCenter variants), strong techno-functional expertise, and a proactive approach to delivering manufacturing operations solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to design and implement solutions based on the Siemens OpCenter Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) platform.
• Conduct impact assessments of changes and new business requirements; deliver optimal solutions to complex manufacturing challenges.
• Provide both product and technical guidance to internal teams on OpCenter applications.
• Lead development efforts focused on OpCenter Discrete modules — experience in this module is mandatory.
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications for the development team.
• Manage incident, problem, service request, and change management processes.
• Oversee governance activities, including periodic reporting and review meetings.
• Engage in team and customer management , promoting knowledge sharing and capability development.
• Coordinate with manufacturing sites to understand shop floor operations and align solutions with business processes.
• Ensure application uptime, SLA adherence, and high availability of solutions.
• Drive and implement continuous process improvement initiatives across the manufacturing ecosystem.
• Collaborate with the MES Center of Excellence (COE) , interfacing application teams, and broader digital transformation programs.
• Work closely with the Siemens OpCenter product team to ensure successful upgrades, maintenance, and new implementations.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience with Siemens OpCenter Discrete modules .
• Strong techno-functional knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and MOM platforms .
• Experience in stakeholder engagement, solutioning, and functional impact analysis.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and shop floor operations.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes like incident, change, and problem management.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Experience with SLA/KPI monitoring and performance optimization.
• Prior experience in governance, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
