Our growing firm is seeking a senior attorney with Big Firm experience who can handle a diverse caseload across several industries, work independently, and zealously represent clients both in and out of court. Compensation: $185,000 yearly Responsibilities: Keep apprised of changes to local, state, and federal statutes and laws Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests/responses Counsel associates to resolve or prevent conflicts Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings Qualifications: Persuasive writing skills and verbal communication skills are critical, along with time management and interpersonal skills Prior experience representing clients in trials, mediation, and arbitration Bachelor’s degree with a law degree from an accredited law school (such as an LLM, JSD, or J.D. degree) Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision ~7 - 10 years of experience as a litigation attorney for business, construction, or real estate litigation ~ At least 10 jury trials as first chair or leading attorney About Company At San Miguel Attorneys, P.
