Salmon is a remote mountain town in the heart of the Intermountain West. We are 3 hours from the nearest Wal-Mart! Our local culture is pre-Christian and heavily influenced by the LDS Church. SVBC is a church planting church and a missional church where you will have heavy exposure to church that is culturally very different from the south. As an intern, you will work directly with our staff in day-to-day church and community ministry. We are not looking for a special skill set. We will work with you to develop a summer of ministry that fits your gifting and interests. You will have opportunities to lead ministries related to your passion. It would be good to have a student that is exploring a call to ministry, but not required.
