Job Description :

We’re looking for a Safety Specialist to join our team supporting a large-scale technology and data center project in Lincoln, NE. This position plays a key role in ensuring the health and safety of workers in a high-security, high-tech environment.

Worksite Overview:

The site includes active data center construction and operational areas with electrical installations, mechanical systems, and critical infrastructure upgrades. Safety oversight includes monitoring trade contractors, equipment use, and work in sensitive or restricted areas.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily safety walks and hazard assessments
• Ensure compliance with both OSHA and client-specific safety requirements
• Facilitate toolbox talks, new-hire orientations, and targeted safety training
• Oversee high-risk activities such as electrical work, hot work, and working at heights
• Collaborate with project management to address safety concerns in real-time

Requirements:

• OSHA 30 (Construction) – Required
• CHST – Preferred
• Experience in data center, high-tech, or large-scale commercial construction environments
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work within high-security protocols
