HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting an experienced and compassionate RN Nurse Manager to lead the Mother Baby/Obstetrics unit at a top-tier medical facility in Los Angeles, CA . Position Overview:
The Nurse Manager will oversee day-to-day clinical operations, support nursing staff, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and drive initiatives that enhance patient safety, satisfaction, and outcomes in the Mother Baby/OB unit.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage nursing personnel across the Mother Baby/OB department
Oversee scheduling, staffing, training, and performance evaluations
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state and federal guidelines
Drive quality improvement efforts and patient satisfaction initiatives
Collaborate with physicians, care teams, and administrative leaders
Ensure safe and effective care for mothers and newborns during the postpartum period
Qualifications:
Active California RN license (or eligibility to obtain)
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Masters preferred
Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience in Mother Baby, Postpartum, or Obstetrics
Proven ability to lead clinical teams and implement performance improvement strategies
Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
