As Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for operational oversight and leadership of the Mother Baby Unit, ensuring clinical excellence, patient and family satisfaction, and high-performing team collaboration. You will direct nursing practice, coordinate staffing, and work closely with interdisciplinary partners to promote evidence-based care and a culture of continuous improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise nursing and support staff in the Mother Baby Unit
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements
Oversee quality assurance, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives
Collaborate with leadership on departmental goals, budgeting, and resource planning
Foster a supportive, inclusive, and accountable team culture
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field
California RN License (active and unrestricted)
BLS Certification American Heart Association (upon hire)
Fire & Life Safety Card (within 30 days of hire)
Management of Aggressive Behavior course (within 90 days of hire)
Additional experience may be required based on specialty programs
Master's degree in Nursing or related field
At least 2 years of clinical experience in Mother Baby or a related specialty
