We are looking for a full-time, 36 hours per week, RN (1st and 2nd shift schedule, and 3rd shift schedule) for our 16-bed Acute Stabilization Unit (ASU) in Providence, RI.

The ASU delivers trauma-informed, client-centered, quality care to adults in mental health crises. No restraints are utilized, as our facility is voluntary.

The unit's nurses are responsible for the following:

· Assessing, monitoring, and documenting the psychiatric and medical needs of clients, and consulting with providers as needed

· Reviewing referrals

· Conducting assessments

· Reconciling and ordering medications

· Administering medications

· Providing crisis intervention, milieu management, and health education as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team

ASU nursing requires a high degree of client interaction and working as a team. People skills and good bedside manner are a must!

Education/Licensing Requirements:

· Seeking an RN, BSN, or ADN.

· RI RN licensure required.

· Bilingual skills compensated.
