Job Title: Registered Nurse

Location: Richmond IN 47374

Tenure: 3+ Months

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a state-operated hospital in Indiana. This role involves providing direct patient care, supervising support staff, and maintaining accurate electronic medical records in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered care and support treatment planning.
• Administer medications and monitor treatment responses.
• Maintain thorough documentation using EMR systems (Cerner preferred).
• Support and educate patients, families, and staff.
• Respond to medical and behavioral emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Indiana or a NLC participating state .
• Associate Degree in Nursing (or higher).
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer skills.
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and patient advocacy skills.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and handle physical demands.

Preferred:

• Experience with adult/geriatric populations.
• Cerner EMR or other EMR experience.
• CPR and CPI certification (training provided if not current).
