Job Description

Equilibria is a mental health group practice looking for a Referral Coordinator to work 35-40 hours/week. Ideal candidates can be in the Philadelphia metro area for training and periodic meetings.

Pay Range: $18.50/hr to $20.00/hr

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assists a diverse set of patients (clients) calling to schedule intake appointments
• Initiates referral process and calls insurance companies to verify benefits (co-pays, deductibles, etc.)
• Enters patient data into an EHR system and schedules appointments
• Manages a high volume of phone calls in a friendly, supportive manner
• Provides general administrative support, like answering emails, calling insurance companies, managing schedules, and maintaining electronic records
• Adjusts to changes and works through issues as they arise
• Maintains confidentiality

Qualifications and Benefits:

• Minimum 2 years related experience
• Behavioral or medical health office experience preferred
• Detail oriented and a quick learner
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Computer skills required
