Recruiter – Skilled Trades

(Must be fluent in both English & Spanish languages)

Job Summary

Join the SKL’D, Trades team as a Skilled Trades Recruiter and embody our “work elevated” philosophy. You’ll recruit top MEP/HVAC trades talent with a personal touch—listening to candidates, understanding client challenges, and aligning both sides for long-term success. By building meaningful pipelines, advocating for safety and growth, and delivering transparent, candidate-centric service, you’ll help us to raise the standard of skilled trades staffing.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-cycle recruitment for trades roles (MEP/HVAC, technicians, foremen, coordinators)
• Source candidates via unions, trade schools, referrals, and job boards
• Conduct interviews (Spanish/English) and coordinate with hiring managers
• Verify certifications/licenses and coordinate onboarding
• Maintain applicant data in ATS and provide regular status updates
• Drive compliance at all levels

Required Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
• 1–3 years of recruiting experience in trades/construction or MEP/HVAC environments
• Familiarity with trade certifications and safety basics
• Proficient with ATS/tools and basic MS Office/Google Workspace
• Ability to regularly travel to local client locations to support onboarding and check-ins
