They are seeking a skilled and driven Litigator to join the team. As a cutting-edge legal powerhouse, their focus includes real estate transactions (commercial and residential), real estate financing (commercial and residential), estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Provide comprehensive legal representation in a wide range of real estate litigation cases, including but not limited to property conflicts, construction litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, zoning, and land use matters.
  2. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies and case preparations, providing clear and actionable advice to clients.
  3. Draft and prepare various legal documents for court proceedings and settlements, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
  4. Represent clients effectively in court proceedings, from trials and hearings to arbitrations and mediations, ensuring their interests are safeguarded.
  5. Collaborate closely with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to deliver high-quality legal services and achieve successful outcomes for our clients.
  6. Manage and prioritize a substantial caseload, maintain time and records, meet deadlines, and ensure the efficient progression of cases.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar.
  2. Demonstrated litigation experience spanning a minimum of 7 years in real estate or related civil litigation.
  3. Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to litigation, real estate, and contractual matters.
  4. Knowledge of industry standards and customs.
  5. Exceptional analytical abilities to interpret legal documents, statutes, and complex case-related information.
  6. Outstanding communication skills with a proven ability to foster strong client relationships and effectively represent clients in legal proceedings.
  7. Capacity to manage a substantial caseload while prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  8. Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-tier legal services.
