Role: Project Manager

Location : Atlanta, GA

Salary: $110,000 - $150,000

About the Company:

A Georgia-based, private equity–backed mechanical contractor with rapid growth over the last several years. Headcount has increased by over 250 employees, and revenue has shown consistent year-over-year growth, with continued expansion projected.

About the Role:

The Project Manager will oversee multiple small to mid-sized mechanical and plumbing projects. Typical project sizes range from $500K to $5M. The role includes project planning, coordination, and execution through closeout.

Project Types Include:

• Distribution centers
• Manufacturing and light industrial facilities
• Commercial spaces (office, retail)
• Hospitals and medical centers
• K–12 educational buildings
• Data centers (including recent projects exceeding $60M)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple mechanical/plumbing projects simultaneously
• Develop project budgets and schedules
• Coordinate with field staff, vendors, and clients
• Handle project documentation, change orders, RFIs, and submittals
• Track labor, materials, and costs to ensure alignment with project goals
• Ensure jobsite safety and regulatory compliance
• Maintain communication with internal teams and client representatives
• Support junior staff and field leaders as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience.
• Experience managing mechanical or plumbing projects
• Working knowledge of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems
• Ability to manage multiple jobs independently
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and project management tools
• OSHA 30 preferred
