We’re seeking a Night Shift Production Supervisor to lead our second shift operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. You’ll oversee production, manage staffing and schedules, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency targets are met. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to guide a team during non-traditional hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate night shift production activities to meet goals in safety, quality, and productivity.
Create, adjust, and manage shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
Lead, coach, and mentor team members to build skills and maintain high performance.
Monitor equipment and production lines, addressing issues quickly to minimize downtime.
Enforce food safety and regulatory standards (HACCP, GMP, FDA) throughout operations.
Partner with Quality Assurance and Maintenance to resolve issues and ensure audit readiness.
Drive continuous improvement efforts to optimize overnight production processes.
Qualifications:
3+ years of food manufacturing experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and compliance standards.
Proven ability to lead and motivate teams on night shifts.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High school diploma or GED required; degree in food science, manufacturing, or business preferred.
