Position Overview

Optimize processes and production of manufacturing quartz countertop surfaces by applying the principles and technologies of chemistry, physics, and engineering while working with production team members, including the senior production manager, department lead, shift leaders, and other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Optimize manufacturing process and product quality
• Identify ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems)
• Devise and manage quality control procedures
• Management of raw material stability and quality
• Prepare estimate of production costs and production progress reports for management
• Monitor and update SAP/MES/WMS system
• Monitor inventory status and manage monthly inventory inspections
• Exchange knowledge and information with other Company facilities to ensure best practices.
• Perform monthly closing (inventory check, production KPI analysis, and etc.)
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Proven proficiency in basic math with reading and writing in English is required
• A combination of relevant education and experience can be considered in lieu of exact education and/or experience requirements.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Bilingual in Korean and English required
• SAP Fluency
