Product Manager - Experimentation Data Platform

Location: Seattle, WA, on-site – 4 days a week

Our client—an industry giant at the intersection of media, entertainment, and technology—is searching for a passionate Product Manager to take the spotlight on their Experimentation Data Engineering Team. This person will report to the Manager of Data Products within the Data Platform organization and will help develop and expand a proprietary experimentation data platform.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the proprietary experimentation data platform and associated tooling that supports streaming products and other digital media properties.

• Build strategic relationships with key technology and business leaders to ensure program success.

• Provide product management expertise for the experimentation data engineering team by partnering with stakeholders to define clear requirements and acceptance criteria, prioritize work, and remove business-related roadblocks.

• Manage integrations, dependencies, and planning with upstream and downstream teams.

• Lead teams in developing and implementing pipelines that process experimentation data, create APIs to deliver results, and build other experiment analysis tools.

• Celebrate feature launches and their business impact through timely communications and targeted presentations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Math, Economics, or equivalent experience

• Experience delivering big data pipelines with a focus on A/B testing, governance, and reporting

• 5+ years of product management experience building and delivering successful data products, services, and capabilities

• Proven track record of leading highly complex projects across multiple functions

• Strong planning skills with the ability to define MVPs and iterate effectively

• Understanding of big data, data modeling, and how to deliver insights to support business decisions

• Highly analytical and collaborative with strong technical, strategic, and problem-solving skills

• Skilled at balancing competing priorities in ambiguous environments

• Ability to lead through influence across functional and organizational boundaries

• Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where change is constant

• Experience presenting to and working with senior leadership

• Knowledge of SDLC, data engineering, data modeling, data warehousing, and big data platforms

• Experience in Agile software development, particularly Scrum methodology and practices

Compensation:

The compensation range for this position is $55/hr. - $67/hr. (approx. $110,000 - $135,000 annualized). Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
