Role: RNG Procurement Manager

Location: Dell Rapids, South Dakota

Schedule: Full-time, on-site Monday - Friday

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 base salary

Overview

This is a hands-on procurement role supporting maintenance and operations across multiple nearby RNG sites. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for sourcing and ordering replacement parts and equipment, managing vendor relationships, and supporting maintenance planning and inventory coordination. This position works closely with both maintenance and operations leadership and plays a critical role in keeping day-to-day activities running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and order replacement parts, tools, and equipment
• Coordinate procurement efforts for ongoing repairs and scheduled maintenance
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to identify current and upcoming part/equipment needs
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate pricing and terms
• Monitor inventory and support improvements to procurement planning and logistics
• Assist with basic contract creation (both written and verbal, as needed)

Preferred Background & Skills

• Experience in agricultural, dairy, or industrial equipment (sales, service, or support)
• Familiarity with parts sourcing, maintenance planning, or systems like irrigation and manure pumping
• Background in farm operations, waste management, or heavy equipment is helpful but not required
• Strong communicator who works well with internal teams and external vendors
• Detail oriented with strong follow-through and comfort handling basic contracts
• Tech savvy, hands on, and eager to learn
• Open to early career professionals with the right attitude and aptitude
• Proactive mindset and ability to manage a multi step procurement process
