A medical based company is looking to fill a 4 month contract Pharmacy Clerk / Fullfillment Worker position in Flint, MI.

Pay rate: $20/hr (Paid weekly)
Allmed Benefits: Dental Insurance, Health Insurance, Vision Insurance and 401(k)

Shift Hours:
- Mon-Tues: 7:00am-4:00pm.
- Wed- Thurs: 7:30am -4:00pm.
- Fri: 7:30am-3:30pm
Closed Weekends and Major Holidays
- Can adjust schedule to Mon-Fri 7:30-4:00pm depending on candidate need
- Occasional overtime may be requested based on business needs but is not expected.

Contract to Hire: 11/17/2025 to 12/31/2026

Job description:
Optum Specialty Pharmacy, 4100 S. Saginaw, Flint, MI 48507
Candidate will work with a team of Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and Pharmacy Clerks in the processing, packaging and shipping of specialty medications for Optum Specialty Pharmacy patients.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Accurately Package and Ship Ambient, Cold Chain, and Temperature Sensitive Medications per standardized guidelines and processes
- Scan prescription label to start packaging process
- Follow prompts on Packaging Screen for Type of Packaging: Padded Mailer, Box or Cooler and directions
- Follow directions on screen to package orders as required on screen including ancillary supplies and manufacturer kits
- Accurately sort UPS, FedEx and USPS packages into separate carrier bins
- Restocking shipping supplies and maintaining cleanliness at shipping station
- Lifting and stocking boxes of frozen and ambient gels onto workstation (25 pounds)
- Palletizing coolers for shipment
- Utilize Pallet Jack to move stacks of coolers and frozen gel packs

Required Qualifications:

- High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks and lunch
- Ability to complete repetitive tasks while maintaining 100% accuracy for packaging orders
- Attention to detail and exceptional accuracy required
- Candidates are required to pass a background check and drug test before beginning employment

Perfered Qualifications:
Expected to accurately package and ship approximately 200-250 packages per 8-hour ship
