Job Description

The Oracle Fusion Test Lead plays a key role in shaping and executing the testing strategy for the Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation. This individual collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, Supply Chain, and Technical, to provide direction throughout the software development lifecycle. This role is essential to ensuring the quality and reliability of modules such as HCM, Finance, SCM, and others, through structured testing phases including SIT, QA, UAT, and regression testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and document the overall test strategy aligned with program phases and business goals.
  • Collaborate with PMO and functional leads to define and proactively manage a comprehensive testing preparation and test execution plan.
  • Implement testing best practices with flexibility, as appropriate, to ensure the achievement of effective outcomes.
  • Work closely with functional leads and solution architects to identify cross-system test scenarios and end-to-end flows.
  • Coordinate with data conversion and enterprise app teams to ensure test environments are properly configured and refreshed.
  • Lead, mentor and motivate the assigned testers throughout test planning, execution, and defect triage meetings during active cycles.
  • Manage test case creation, review, and approval ensuring traceability from requirements to defect resolution.
  • Oversee Jira usage for test tracking and reporting.
  • Define defect severity criteria and prioritization rules.
  • Ensure timely logging, root cause analysis, and resolution of defects.
  • Escalate blockers to PMO and ensure alignment with defined program timelines.
  • Deliver dashboards and readouts on test execution, defect trends, and coverage.
  • Communicate go/no-go risks and readiness status to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5 - 7+ years of QA/Test Lead experience, preferably in healthcare Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations.
  • Deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud modules (ERP, HCM, SCM, EPM).
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and enterprise systems.
  • PMP Certification preferred.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional team collaboration and results.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
