Job Description

Primary Focus:

This position is responsible for executing a daily work plan issued by the Operations Manager .

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of warehouse employees, ensuring an adequate headcount of staff daily.
• Lead and manage a team of warehouse employees to complete tasks that will include replenishment, cycle counting, order picking and packing and general facility housekeeping.
• Lead, guide and direct warehouse employees as needed to include setting targets, monitoring performance, providing coaching, counseling, and development.
• Responsible and accountable for shift operations ensuring daily SLA’s and productivity goals are achieved.
• Assess the need for and arrange the repair and maintenance of moving equipment like forklifts, dollies, and so on.
• Responsible for ensuring a safe, secure, and fair work environment for all team members.

Education/Professional Development Requirements :

Related College Diploma or University Degree is an asset.

Experience Requirements:

A minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in Logistics and Transportation, preferably from a third-party logistics environment. Direct-to-consumer (BTC) E-commerce experience is strongly preferred.

Behavioral Competencies Required:

Ability to work in a team environment and to apply basic leadership skills.

Technical Competencies Required:

Excellent PC skills, including MS Access, Excel, and Word.
