Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Marine Construction Estimator located in Chesapeake, VA. The Marine Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates for marine construction projects. This includes performing quantity take-offs, managing costs, and budgeting. The Estimator will work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timeliness in project bids. Daily tasks also involve reviewing project plans and specifications to develop comprehensive cost analyses.

  • Construction Estimating and Quantity Take-offs skills
  • Experience in Cost Management and Budgeting
  • Strong Communication skills for effective stakeholder collaboration
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools
  • Experience in marine construction or a related field is preferred
  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred
