About the Role We are seeking a skilled
Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading provider of power distribution, power conditioning, load bank, and renewable energy equipment solutions. This organization is at the forefront of supporting critical electrical infrastructure across diverse industries.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and improve methods, equipment, and systems that support the production of high-quality electrical and metal fabrication products.
Job Description In this position, you will:
- Design and develop manufacturing processes for electrical and metal fabrication equipment, ensuring efficient production flow and adherence to quality standards.
- Select and optimize machinery, tools, and equipment to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Develop and maintain standardized work instructions and documentation for manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams during new product introduction (NPI) to ensure manufacturability and scalability.
- Partner with quality teams to create and execute quality control plans, inspection methods, and testing protocols.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to production teams.
- Conduct cost analysis and drive cost-reduction initiatives without compromising safety or quality.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and foster a culture of safety.
Qualifications Required: - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on metal fabrication, electro-mechanical, and/or electronic assembly.
- Hands-on experience supporting production lines and driving process improvements.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Familiarity with quality control tools and processes (e.g., process control, FMEA).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Preferred: - Experience with electrical systems and metal fabrication techniques.
- Background in design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA).
- Exposure to cost analysis and cost-reduction strategies.
