We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Operations Specialist . Position Overview:

As a Logistics Operations Specialist , you will be responsible for monitoring and tracking the status of shipments, ensuring timely deliveries, and managing any issues that arise during the transportation process. You will work closely with our operations team to ensure that our clients receive the highest level of service. You will evolve into learning the full process of tracking and tracing, all the way to customer relationships, quoting, and speaking with carriers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shipment Tracking : Monitor shipments in transit to ensure timely deliveries, updating clients and internal teams on the status of shipments.
• Issue Resolution : Quickly identify and resolve any delays or issues during transit, coordinating with drivers, carriers, and customers to resolve problems.
• Communication : Maintain clear and frequent communication with carriers, customers, and internal teams to provide updates and ensure all parties are informed.
• Data Entry and Recordkeeping : Accurately enter tracking data into our systems and maintain up-to-date records for all shipments.
• Problem-Solving : Investigate any discrepancies or delays in shipments, identifying root causes and working to implement solutions that prevent future issues.
• Customer Service : Provide excellent customer service, answering client inquiries and addressing any concerns related to shipments, delivery times, or tracking updates.
• Growth : Ability to learn to manage pricing, scheduling, and booking shipments for customers.

Qualifications:

• Experience in logistics, transportation, and freight brokering.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable with freight management software.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to think on your feet.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
