We are searching for a full time, direct hire Logistics Coordinator in Somerset, PA to be responsible for managing the day-to-day logistics and supply chain activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and materials.
You will:
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including shipments, deliveries, and inventory levels.
- Schedule and track inbound and outbound shipments with freight carriers, vendors, and internal departments, including international containers
-Support clearance of international containers, working with brokers as needed
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
- Prepare shipping documentation such as bills of lading, customs declarations, and packing lists.
- Communicate with suppliers, transportation providers, and internal teams to resolve delays or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and logistics metrics.
- Use ERP systems to generate operational and performance reports for management review.
You will have:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination preferred.
- Familiarity with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS, TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
