Job Description

We are seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee all aspects of our back-of-house, ensuring exceptional food quality, efficient operations, and a thriving team environment at a popular, high-energy dining destination.

Responsibilities

  • Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff. You'll foster a positive and highly productive work environment, manage schedules, address performance, and motivate your team to achieve peak efficiency and maintain our high standards.
  • Manage stock levels and place timely orders for ingredients. You'll cultivate strong relationships with vendors, implement strategies to minimize waste, and optimize food costs.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared to perfection, upholding our established recipes and rigorous quality standards. You'll maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control, and expertly accommodate special dietary requests.
  • Enforce all food safety and sanitation regulations. You'll oversee equipment maintenance, conduct routine inspections for a spotless and safe kitchen, and train your team on best practices.
  • Manage the kitchen budget, strategically controlling costs and maximizing profitability. You'll monitor food and labor costs, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to menu pricing and cost analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with our front-of-house team for seamless service. You'll maintain open lines of communication with chefs, leadership, and suppliers, and promptly address any food quality-related feedback.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar leadership role within a fast-paced culinary environment.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • A deep understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
  • A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional food.
  • Ability to commute daily (Required).
