D3 Search is actively seeking a temp-to-hire Junior Paralegal candidate for a distinguished & renowned hospital/healthcare facility ( corporate legal dept .) based in East Hollywood, CA (90027).

Junior Paralegal

• Note: This is a temp-to-hire role within the hospital’s corporate legal department .
• Candidate must have at least 1+ year’s experience working either in a law firm or legal department of a corporation .

Employment Status :

Temp-to-hire employment opportunity. Temp/contract period is 90 days in duration.

Employer Work Model :

Fully onsite work model (Monday-Friday).

Position Description :

The Paralegal will provide support to the Office of General Counsel (corporate legal dept.) in the following areas: preparation, review, and processing of legal documents using form templates and managing special projects.

• Organizes, reviews, and maintains the Legal Department's contracts, legal documents, and records.
• Prepares, drafts, and reviews contracts and other legal documents.
• Manages assigned special projects (e.g. subpoenas, debt collection, investigations, Legal Tracker).
• Research & monitors and summarizes assigned legal topics, legal news, legislation, and/or litigation matters.
• Prepares and files required documents for the Secretary of State and local governmental agencies.
• Organizes and maintains emails/electronic files using the Legal Department’s document management/repository system.
• Prepares and presents Cabinet Dashboards for executives and other internal stakeholders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

At least one of the following :

• A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved paralegal program,
• A certificate from a paralegal program, or a degree from, an accredited secondary institution which requires at least 31 semester units in law-related courses.

Hourly Rate/Comp.:

Hourly compensation is up to $25-30.00/hour.
