Junior UX Designer

Location: 5 days a week onsite in Coppell, TX

Duration: ~ 6 Months

Schedule: 40 hours a week

Hourly Rate: up to $30 an hour/ DOE

Our large Retail client, is looking for a Junior UX Designer for a 40 hour a week, ~ 6 month role. This role requires 5 days a week onsite at headquarters in Coppell, TX.

The ideal Junior UX Designer has strong illustration skills to accompany workflows.

Junior UX Designer Responsibilities:

Create, design, edit, and resize visual assets for various digital platform projects.

Develop and maintain illustrations and animations for the corporate design system.

Work cross-functionally with product managers, content strategists, researchers, and designers to make sure the assets delivered meet the brief and brand.

Ensure that designs delivered meet usability standards and accessibility standards.

Manage workflows and assigned projects to make sure they meet deadlines set forth.

Bring design trends to the forefront and ideate on how they could be applied to the design systems.

Take complex ideas and translate them into icons, illustrations, pictograms, and even light motion graphics.

Junior UX Qualifications:

0-2 years' experience working.

Bachelor's degree.

Portfolio link and samples!

Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite.

Experience with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
