Interior Designer | Full-Time | On-Site – Chandler, AZ

At DBSI , we’re looking for an Interior Designer & Coordinator to join our talented team. In this role, you’ll work on bold, innovative environments in banking and corporate spaces—contributing to everything from product sourcing and sample management to full-scale concept development and construction documents.

This is a great opportunity for someone with 3–7 years of experience who’s ready to take the next step in their design career, with hands-on involvement in both the creative and executional sides of the design-build process.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–7 years of experience in commercial interior design (retail, healthcare, or office experience preferred)
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of interior design principles, materials, detailing, and building codes (including ADA guidelines)
  • Strong understanding of construction documents with the ability to redline and review for accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with vendors, clients, and cross-functional teams
  • Self-starter mindset with a willingness to dive in, solve problems, and push projects forward
  • Proficiency in: Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Suite

What Your Day Looks Like

  • Support and lead aspects of project design—from sample coordination to conceptual development
  • Source product cut sheets, warranty info, pricing, and lead times from vendors
  • Maintain and manage FF&E Specification Worksheets and sample libraries
  • Create material boards, sample boxes, and finish plans for client presentations
  • Develop construction documents for interior architecture (furniture/finish schedules, floor and wall finish plans, interior elevations)
  • Collaborate with rendering, construction, and engineering teams for QA and deliverables
  • Attend client meetings, manage meeting minutes, and help keep projects on time and on budget
  • Participate in due diligence, permitting coordination, and site visits as needed
