Unleash your potential with us! We are a leading law firm in the legal industry looking for a dedicated and experienced Permanent Immigration Paralegal to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about immigration law and are looking for a challenging role where they can make a difference. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing immigration cases, preparing legal documentation, and ensuring a smooth immigration process for our clients. This role requires a high level of organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage a high volume of immigration cases, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, EB-5, and other immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions.
2. Prepare and file applications for immigration and naturalization.
3. Draft legal documents such as affidavits, briefs, motions, and appeals.
4. Communicate effectively with clients, government officials, and team members regarding case status and compliance requirements.
5. Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in immigration laws and procedures.
6. Collaborate with attorneys to strategize and optimize case management.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and databases.
8. Utilize critical thinking skills to solve complex immigration issues.
9. Handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively and respond to urgent situations promptly.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
2. Paralegal certificate preferred.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Immigration Paralegal.
4. Proficient in case management and legal documentation preparation.
5. In-depth knowledge of immigration procedures and laws.
6. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workloads.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. High attention to detail and accuracy.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and immigration case management software.
12. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
