What you’ll do

As Global Pilot Plant Intern, you will:

• Gain hands-on experience in a Pilot Plant using mixers to conduct experiments, processing trials for new and existing Henkel Products
• Work closely with Pilot Plant staff in coordinating with Product Development and Manufacturing sites in scaling new products
• Conducting experiments, processing trials, and performing a variety of technical procedures in the development of new and existing products
• Planning and executing tests of new formulations to ensure products can be manufactured at-scale
• Gathering, analyzing, and evaluating ideas from manufacturing to improve or develop new functionality within materials management or production planning

What makes you a good fit

• An undergraduate student graduating in 2027 or 2028 pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
• First experience with chemical handling in a lab or industrial setting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for data tracking, reporting, and presentation

Following your internship, you may be invited to join Henkel as a returning intern or full-time employee.   

Additional information

• This internship is eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support. 
• Henkel’s Summer 2026 internship program starts on May 27th, 2026, and runs through mid-August.  
• Recruitment for our 2026 internships starts in late August 2025 and runs through early March 2026 or until all our positions are filled.

The salary for this role is $22-$27/hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
