Position Overview:

We are partnered with a dynamic Single Family Office in search of an Attorney to support in managing a broad range of legal matters. The role involves close collaboration with senior legal leadership and CEO to ensure legal strategies align with the family's values and long-term objectives. This is a highly unique opportunity to be a part of a highly reputable operation and provide immediate impact to the CEO and their family.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with senior legal leadership to craft and execute legal strategies that reflect the family's principles and goals.
• Oversee and manage a wide array of legal matters, including contract analysis, asset oversight, governance frameworks, investment documentation, employment law issues, trust administration, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with professional advisors to ensure efficient and effective implementation of legal initiatives.
• Conduct legal due diligence for a variety of investment types, including direct investments, co-investments, and fund allocations across multiple asset classes.
• Support governance activities related to corporate entities, the family office, trusts, and affiliated structures.
• Develop and maintain internal legal policies and operational procedures.
• Provide support on miscellaneous legal tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Florida; additional state bar admissions are advantageous.
• 4+ years of legal experience, preferably with a focus on contracts, asset management, governance, investment documentation, employment law, trusts, and regulatory matters.
• Knowledge of estate planning and tax law is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
