Job Description

Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner – Retail Clinic Setting

Key Responsibilities:

Patient-Centered Quality and Safety:

  • Educate patients on maintaining proper health to achieve quality outcomes.
  • Evaluate, co-manage, and treat patients' medical needs in a safe, high-quality manner.
  • Document all patient interactions within the electronic health record.
  • Participate in the development of Patient-Centered Practice Teams.
  • Respond to patient care inquiries throughout the day.

Customer Service Excellence:

  • Promote patient satisfaction and engagement by incorporating feedback from patients, management, and peers.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with patients and team members.

Healthcare Environment Management:

  • Resolve conflicts using professional management techniques.
  • Build collaborative relationships with clinic and retail colleagues.
  • Effectively prioritize tasks to manage patient care and clinic operations.
  • Adapt to evolving patient care models to enhance clinic efficiency.
  • Support hiring, training, and development of clinical team members.
  • Focus on operational effectiveness and cost management while maintaining care quality.
  • Validate insurance coverage and factor it into the patient care plan.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Active National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
  • Active license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
  • Willingness to obtain a DEA license if required by state regulations.

  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is required by the start date, subject to approved medical or religious exemptions.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Lunch: 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM)
  • Clinic is closed on Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
