Our client , a leading financial institution with a strong commitment to ethical banking practices, is seeking a Fair & Responsible Banking Officer to support their Compliance team. This full-time hybrid role (2 days per week onsite in Denver, CO) offers a competitive base salary range of $120,000-$135,000 per year , plus bonus potential.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead development and ongoing management of the Fair Banking Program, ensuring compliance with fair lending, anti-predatory, and UDAAP regulations
Develop and maintain formal documentation including job aids and procedures
Conduct Fair Banking reviews, analyses, and testing-underwriting, redlining, pricing, and steering
Produce periodic compliance reports and monitor alignment with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) goals
Perform risk assessments across business lines, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions
Serve as a subject matter expert, advising internal stakeholders on Fair Banking regulations
Partner with business teams during audits, projects, and regulatory exams related to CRA and UDAAP
Deliver training and raise awareness of regulatory changes
Champion a compliance-focused corporate culture aligned with the client's values
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in compliance, legal, financial services, or a related control function
Prior experience at a large bank or comparable organization
In-depth knowledge of U.S. fair lending laws, regulations, and typologies
Exceptional ability to interpret and apply laws to business scenarios
Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Advanced analytical and project management capabilities
Proficiency in MS Office applications
CRCM or other relevant certifications preferred
Master's, JD, or other advanced degrees are a plus
Base Salary: $120,000-$135,000/year plus bonus eligibility
