Responsibilities:

This position will support a wide variety of projects across the company with our talented team of engineers and scientists. Responsibilities will include the preparation of environmental compliance and permitting materials in the following subject areas:

• Waterways, Coastlines and Wetlands
• Stormwater Pollution Prevention
• National/State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System
• National Environmental Policy Act/Sate Environmental Quality Review Act

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, policy, engineering or related field
• 1-4 years of direct experience
• Knowledge of local, State and Federal waterways, wetlands and stormwater regulatory permit programs
• Familiarity with NEPA/SEQRA
• Working knowledge of ArcGIS
• Willingness to participate in field work (inspections at stormwater outfalls, public works yards, active construction sites, etc.)
• Proficiency in commonly used computer software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent writing and communication skills

Schedule:

Monday through Friday

8 hours per day

On site position only

Salary Range: $56,000-$64,000
