About the Role

As we expand our footprint in Arkansas, we’re seeking experienced educators and school leaders to join our growing team of consultants. The Kirkland Group is seeking passionate and knowledgeable Instructional Coaches in ELA OR Math to serve as independent educational consultants across Arkansas. If you're a certified educator with strong knowledge of Arkansas Academic Standards, instructional best practices, and data-informed planning, we want to hear from you. Note: We are hiring subject-specific coaches. Applicants may apply for ELA OR Math—expertise in both subjects is not required. We are hiring for elementary, middle, and high school levels.

Responsibilities

• Modeling high-quality instruction in ELA or Math aligned to Arkansas Academic Standards (AAS)
• Co-teaching lessons and supporting day-to-day classroom instruction
• Facilitating professional development and PLC meetings with teachers and leaders
• Analyzing student data from ATLAS, MAP Growth, DIBELS, and other screeners
• Supporting implementation of High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM) in classrooms

Qualifications

• Active or prior Arkansas educator certification (teacher and/or administrator)
• Deep understanding of either ELA OR Math Arkansas Academic Standards
• Experience using assessment tools such as ATLAS, MAP Growth, and DIBELS
• Familiarity with HQIM like Eureka Math, Amplify, Heggerty, etc.
• Ability to travel to schools throughout Arkansas
• Strong interpersonal and adult learning facilitation skills

Preferred Skills

• Previous consulting, coaching, or facilitation experience
• Background in leading data-driven planning, PLCs, or instructional leadership
• Familiarity with Arkansas DESE initiatives and HQIM adoption guidance
