The Dog Wizard Sarasota is looking for a talented and experienced trainer who loves working with dogs and their humans and wants to elevate their career path. This job will require knowledge of dog training, as you will be evaluating potential client dogs, as well as the owners, and targeting the best pathway towards achieving the customers training goals.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Work with The Dog Wizard team to implement training to standard.
• Identifying issues and problem-solving to address challenges swiftly.
• Conduct evaluations with potential clients and their dogs in the selection of appropriate service to achieve desired training outcome.
• Oversee sold training programs including group classes, private lessons, and board and train services for quality and customer satisfaction.
• Lead a staff of 4-12 professional dog trainers and kennel technicians, building a positive team atmosphere whereby achievements of clients result in overall success of the business.
• Oversee the proper care of the facility and its vehicles.
• Assist in developing, and maintaining community relationships through attending events, scheduling lunch and learns with local businesses, and building brand awareness by training in the community.
• Assist in maintaining and strengthening client relationships.
• Building the quality reputation of The Dog Wizard through word-of-mouth referrals, online reviews, and delivering on the expected goals for training.

Requirements:

• AT LEAST ONE YEAR of Balanced Dog Training experience is REQUIRED. 
• Successful completion of The Dog Wizard Academy accelerated training path is mandatory. (The company pays for the academy cost of training 100% if the employee remains employed with the company for one year).
• High School Diploma.
• Valid Drivers Licence.
• Must have good communication skills; organizational skills; and problem solving skills.
• Must be customer service driven.
• Resume' and Cover Letter Preferred.
